Key things to take away
- To make sure that guests are automatically added to your loyalty program, check that you have your Shopify Customer Accounts set to Optional.

- If you have your Create an Account earn task switched on, your members will receive their bonus points for joining.

- Your loyalty program settings dictate when a member receives their loyalty points.
> Adjust when points are rewarded for online purchases
- If you have your Earned Points Email notification switched on, they will also receive an email letting them know that they’ve earned points.
